Kennebunkport, Maine...squish, squish
The good news is...Mother Nature is getting all the rain out of its system. As a result, we should be in for a wonderful summer.
Two weeks ago we were wondering if the lawns were going to turn green because of a lack of snowfall and rainfall so far this year. We were way behind and it appeared that we were in for at least a minor drought.
Well stand back, or at least stand under something. It seems like it has been raining forever. In Kennebunkport we have gotten about 12 inches of rain in the last couple of days alone. South of us, in York, they got even more.
The bad news is...well there is no bad news. Summer officially starts on Memorial Day weekend and that's just around the corner. This rain is due to stop sometime before then.
Kennebunkport is in for another beautiful summer. What a great place for a vacation.
